Nepal Environmental Scientific Services Ltd. Pvt. (NESS) is major subcontractor to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded “Program for Aquatic Natural Resources Improvement” (PANI) project budgeted at USD 25 million granted to DAI Global LLC, Maryland, USA.
NESS started the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study of Budhigandaki HEP (Storage Type 1200 MW) in March 2013 and completed the project in December 2015 for client Budhigandaki Jalbidhut Development Company.

The Super Trishuli Hydropower Project (STHP) is a Run-of-River Project (ROR). The project is designed for an installed capacity of 100MW and is proposed to be developed in the lower reaches of Trishuli River. The proponent of the STHEP is the Blue Energy Pvt. Ltd. NESS has completed the ESIA study of the project.
Karnali Chisapani HEP is the largest known hydro-power project of Nepal; which lies in 600KM west from Kathmandu. NESS is currently conducting socio-economic survey of households in the affected VDCs.
As part of the baseline survey, NESS conducted fish research in upper Karnali river.
